Heidy, a dedicated vet technician at Patriot Animal Hospital since April 21, 2025, brings a wealth of experience and passion for small animal medicine. She began her veterinary career in 2019 with an internship at a mixed practice in Jarrell, TX, where she quickly rose to a leadership role after earning her veterinary assistant certification. While pursuing an administrative management degree in college, Heidy refined her skills and solidified her commitment to veterinary medicine, inspired by her early interest sparked through her high school FFA chapter and an outstanding academic achievement award. At Patriot Animal Hospital, she fulfills her dream of working in veterinary medicine every day. Outside work, Heidy enjoys reading and spending cozy weekends with her dog, Canelo, watching Disney movies.
